At AHL Gas Processing Plant, we produce,
- Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG)
- Plant Condensate
Propane is widely used in the Chemical and Fertilizer industries. Propane is Produced as per the SON Standards.
Transient storage of Propane and Butane will be in 1000 MT mounded bullets. Five mounded bullets are installed with automatic emergency shutdown system and gas monitoring system. Evacuation shall be by road tankers to domestic customers.
Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) is a highly versatile energy source that can be used in a wide range of applications, from cooking to an alternative transport fuel or for industrial purposes. LPG is set to play an increasingly important role in Nigeria’s energy mix.
We have a strong commitment to facilitate the enhanced use of LPG by Nigerian households and to establish a sustainable level of growing demand, increased investment, and availability of the clean fuel.
Domestic: The most popular use of LPG in Africa is as a cooking fuel. LPG is safe, and clean and does not produce smoke which is dangerous to health.
Commercial: The product is also used for cooling and heating purposes in hotels, restaurants, and boarding schools, etc.
Industrial: LPG is a versatile fuel that is ideally and widely used in many industrial applications and production processes. These include space, process, and water heating. It is also used in power generation, powering industrial ovens, production of food, kilns, furnaces, production of packing material as well as in powering forklift trucks in warehouses.
Auto Gas: LPG is the most popular alternative to petrol and diesel for passenger cars worldwide. It is said to be the third most used fuel for powering vehicles across the globe. Auto Gas offers advantages in fuel economy and maintenance costs, as well as reduced emissions. It’s cleaner, greener, and cheaper. LPG Auto Gas is by far the most widely available environmentally friendly alternative fuel.
Petrochemicals: With the development of the petrochemical industry, LPG has developed into a basic raw material (feedstock) for the chemical industry. LPG in the aerosol industry has become widespread for manufacturing Pesticides, Air-fresheners, Perfumes, Cosmetics, Spray Paint, and Food grade packaging material.
Power Plants: As one of the cleanest conventional fuels available, LPG has become a viable choice to facilitate the generation of off-grid electricity. LPG is clean burning and has a carbon footprint that is lower than that of diesel and significantly lower than petrol.
It has a high carbon value and uses as Spiked Crude. It enhances the value of ordinary crude.
Volume of Condensate production about 720,000 bbl. per annum.
