Ashtavinayak Hydrocarbon Limited (AHL) is a Limited Liability Company incorporated under the Companies and Allied Matters Act (CAMA) Nigeria.

AHL has set-up a State-of-the-art Gas Processing Plant in Kwale, Delta State with a Capacity to process 125 mmscfd of Natural Gas. The commercial production commenced in October 2020. We currently operate at 100% Production Capacity.

LPG production of 300 MT per day as environmental friendly.

AHL is also in the process of establishing it’s presence in the global space (Singapore, UK, China).

Dr. Salihu Jamari, Director, was Managing Director of Gas & Power Investment Company Limited in Gas and Power Directorate of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC).

  • Over three decades of enthusiastic pursuit in Gas and Chemical Engineering, Operations and Maintenance.
  • Managed numerous large and complex gas projects designs and executions in NPDC and NAPIMS
  • Immediate past Managing Director of the Nigeria Gas Company (NGC).
  • Successfully delivered technical expertise, and engineering excellence in complex joint venture projects, which involved a consortium of International contractors, multi-discipline subcontractors requiring a lot of coordination and contract interface management.

Dr. Jamari has attended several Management development programmes and demonstrated high quality leadership styles with strategic view that encourages and facilitates cross-functional workings of project teams and ensured good career development for direct reports and other staffers of the Company.

Engineer Yusuf Usman, Director, is a Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (FNSE). He has over 30 years’ experience in the Oil & Gas Industry.

  • Started his carrier in 1987 as a Facilities/ Project Engineer with Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC).
  • In 1993, he joined the Services of Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) as Facilities Engineer and rose to become the Technical Assistant to GGM NAPIMS in 2007.
  • In 2010 he was redeployed to Gas & Power Directorate as Deputy Manager, Calabar to Ajaokuta Pipeline (CAP) Project and concurrently as Deputy Project Manager of Lot A of the OB3.
  • Arising from his exceptional performance and unparalleled leadership skills, Engr. Usman was seconded to the Office of the Honourable Minister of Petroleum Resources (2011 – 2015) as Deputy Manager/Technical Assistant to Minister of Petroleum Resources (Gas Matters).
  • In January 2015, he was promoted to a Manager and redeployed to Gas Infrastructure Division, Gas & Power Directorate as Project Manager, OB3 (Lots A & B).
  • In June 2016 he was posted as General Manager (Cover) Planning and Business Development of the Exploration and Production Directorate where he supported the development of Investment Document for the China Investment Road Show that triggered about $80 million dollars investment opportunity. He also developed strategy for E&P Directorate for enhanced oil to 2.3 million barrels a day and 1,500MMscf/d gas production to domestic market.
  • In August 2016, Engr. Usman was redeployed to the office of the Group Managing Director (GMD) as General Manager Upstream, responsible for Management and review of Upstream Oil and Gas developments. He managed bilateral projects in the GMD’s office, which included all engagements with Qatari Investors, Crude Supply from Niger, Moroccan Investors Projects etc.
  • Through his resilience and hard work, He was promoted to the Position of Group General Manager/ Senior Technical Assistant to GMD in August 2017 where he served until, he was appointed the Chief Operating Officer, Gas & Power in July 2019.

Academic Qualifications:

  • Graduate of Chemical Engineering – The prestigious Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria-Kaduna, Nigeria
  • Attended several courses at home and abroad including the prestigious Stanford University in USA and IFP in France.
  • Presented several Technical Papers and attended Trainings, Seminars/ Workshops in Nigeria and abroad.

 

Engr. Yusuf Usman was Chairman of the Boards of the following companies;

  • West African Gas Pipeline Company (WAPCo)
  • NNPC Retail Limited
  • NLNG Ship Management Limited (NSML)
  • ANOH Gas Processing Company (AGPC) Limited

He was also a member of the Board of the following companies.

  • Nigerian Gas Company (NGC)
  • Nigerian Gas Marketing Company (NGMC)
  • NNPC Gas & Power Investment Company (NGPIC)
  • West African Gas Limited (WAGL)

Under his leadership of the Gas & Power Autonomous Business Unit of NNPC, the AKK Gas Pipeline and NLNG Train 7 Projects were flagged off and are currently being executed after several years of failed attempts. He was a recipient of GMD’s merit award of excellence in 2009 and 2014/2015 respectively.

 

He is happily married with children.

Mohammed has 30years Operations experience in Oil & Gas Industry. He has wide range of experience in Oil and Gas:

  • Commissioning and Operations Experience of an Ammonia Plant in India,
  • Three Gas Processing Plants with ADNOC Abu Dhabi
  • Five LNG Plants with RasGas Qatar
  • Two Gas Processing Plants with Qatar Gas Qatar
  • ADANI LPG Terminal in India in his previous roles.
  • He led Complex Operations activities like Major Planned & Unplanned Shutdowns.
  • Expertise in designing and rolling out of the Business Process and Best Practices
  • Led the planning and execution of various projects and demonstrated competency in highest Safety standards, optimization of Process Plants & achieving reliable operation.
  • Led Incident investigations to identify root causes and mitigate to prevent reoccurrence.

Academic Qualification:

  • BSc. Mechanical Engineer – Washington International University, US. (2005)
  • Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) – Magadh University, Bodhgaya, Bihar. (1993)
  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering – Andhra Polytechnic. (1987).
  • Extensively trained in People Management Personnel & Process Safety Management
  • Production Best Practices (Exxon Mobil) Emergency Response as L-II Incident Command, Level-2 Trained Risk Assessor.

Mohammed is a natural leader and well-trained Manager. He has strong leadership traits and designing of HR Processes.

Basil has over 20yrs working experience in Oil & Gas operations, ranging from Gas processing plant, Production operations, Flow station operations, Develop SOPs, Design review, Installation, Pre-commissioning/Commissioning, Facility Maintenance and upgrade. He was also involved in:

  • Installation, Commissioning, Test running and handover of 5000 Barrels/day crude oil Flow station – Energia Oil & Gas Limited- Ebendo Kwale (Flow station OML 056)
  • Led team for successful commissioning of 125mmscf/d Gas processing plant {Propane, Butane (LPG), Condensate & Methane as products} – Xenergi/Energia Oil & Gas Ltd
  • Successfully reduced down-time, quality production and reduced cost.
  • Passion to ensure safety of personnel, safety of plant, safety of Equipment & safety of environment.

  • BSc Environmental Science and Resource Management – National Open University of Nigeria (2018)
  • Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) Process Instrumentation & Control – Federal University of Technology Owerri (2001)

Mr. Tony Chukwueke, Director, has over 45 years’ experience in the energy industry. He has served in various capacity both in Nigeria and international:

  • Chief Geophysicist of Shell Companies in Nigeria
  • Value and Portfolio Manager of Shell Companies in Nigeria
  • Business Development Manager for Africa at Shell International Gas Limited based in London, the United Kingdom.
  • Seconded by Shell International Gas Limited, in April 2004, as Technical Adviser and Executive Assistant to the Presidential Adviser on Petroleum and Energy
  • Joined the Federal Civil Service in June 2005 as Director of Petroleum Resources
  • Initiated reform on the energy sector with a decisive move towards Production Sharing Contracts in the Oil and Gas Sector and a revision of the fiscal arrangement in Nigerian Deep Offshore leases
  • Appointed Chairman of the Implementation Committee of the Imo Refinery and Petrochemical Project – February 2010.
